This privacy policy explains what information Quran Universe ("we", "us") collects when you use quranuniverse.app (the "site"), how we use it, and the choices you have. The short version: you can read the whole site without an account, we do not run advertising or tracking scripts, and we never sell your data.

Information you do not have to give us
You do not need an account to use Quran Universe, and we do not ask for your name, email address or any other personal details to read the site.
Technical information from your visit
Like every website, our servers receive basic technical information when your browser requests a page. This includes your IP address, browser type, device type, the page you requested, the referring page and the date and time of the request. Our hosting and security provider, Cloudflare, processes this information to deliver pages, protect the site from abuse and attacks, and keep it running. Cloudflare may keep short-term logs for these purposes under its own privacy policy.
We use this information only to operate, secure and improve the site. We do not use it to build profiles of individual visitors.
Information you send us
If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include in your message. We use it only to reply to you and to fix any issue you report.
Cookies and local storage
Quran Universe does not set advertising or tracking cookies.
The site stores one small setting in your browser's local storage: your light or dark theme preference, so the site looks the way you chose on your next visit. This value never leaves your device and is not sent to us. You can clear it at any time by clearing your browser's site data.
Cloudflare may set strictly necessary security cookies to tell real visitors apart from automated traffic. These are not used for advertising.
Analytics and advertising
We do not run third-party analytics, advertising networks, social media pixels or session recording on the site. If this ever changes, we will update this policy before doing so and describe what is collected.
We use Google Search Console to understand how the site appears in Google search results. Search Console reports aggregated search data, such as which search terms showed our pages, and does not place any script or cookie on your device when you visit the site.
Fonts and other resources
The fonts used on the site are bundled with it and served from our own domain, so loading a page does not send your information to a font provider.
How we share information
We do not sell, rent or trade personal information. We share information only:
- With service providers that help us run the site, such as our hosting and security provider, and only as needed for that service
- When required by law, or to protect the rights, safety and security of our users and the site
Data retention
Server and security logs are kept only as long as our providers need them for operation and security. Emails you send us are kept as long as needed to deal with your message, and you can ask us to delete them.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, including under the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), you may have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, or to object to how it is used. Children's privacy
Quran Universe is suitable for readers of all ages and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "last updated" date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be noted on the site.
