It is He who sent His Messenger with guidance and the religion of truth to manifest it over all religion, although those who associate others with Allah dislike it.

He sent His Messenger with guidance to prevail.

The message has a direction and a finish

the true religionto prevail
Whose plan
it depends on meI must make it win
it is His planI choose to be part of it

Following the verse about the light, Allah says it is He who sent the Messenger ﷺ with guidance and the religion of truth, to make it prevail. Ibn Kathir says the meaning was explained in Surah Bara'ah. The early believers, after the hurt of Uhud, heard this as a promise.

You worry about your kids' faith, about the future, about whether any of it will last. The outcome is in Allah's hands. Your part is smaller and lighter: live it well today, where you are.

The future of faith rests on my shoulders and my worry.

Allah has already set the direction. I only choose whether I walk with it.

Try this

Write down one worry about the future of your faith or family, then make one dua about it and leave it with Allah.

Tafsir Ibn Kathir (shared passage from 61:7)

And who does more wrong than the one who invents a lie against Allah, while he is being invited to Islam? And Allah guides not the people who are wrongdoers (7)They intend to put out the Light of Allah with their mouths. But Allah will bring His Light to perfection even though the disbelievers hate (it)(8)He it is Who has sent His Messenger with guidance and the religion of truth to make it victorious over all religions even though idolators hate (it)(9)

The Most Unjust among all People

Allah said,

وَمَنْ أَظْلَمُ مِمَّنِ افْتَرَىٰ عَلَى اللَّهِ الْكَذِبَ وَهُوَ يُدْعَىٰ إِلَى الْإِسْلَامِ ۚ

(And who does more wrong than the one who invents a lie against Allah, while he is being invited to Islam?) meaning, none is more unjust than he who lies about Allah and calls upon rivals and associates partners with Him, even while he is being invited to Tawhid and sincerely worshipping Him. This is why Allah said,

وَاللَّهُ لَا يَهْدِي الْقَوْمَ الظَّالِمِينَ

(And Allah guides not the people who are wrongdoers.) Allah said,

يُرِيدُونَ لِيُطْفِئُوا نُورَ اللَّهِ بِأَفْوَاهِهِمْ

(They intend to put out the Light of Allah with their mouths.) indicating that the disbelievers will try to contradict the truth with falsehood. Their attempts are similar to one's attempt to extinguish the sun with his mouth, which is impossible. Likewise is the case of their attempt to extinguish truth. So Allah said,

(But Allah will bring His Light to perfection even though the disbelievers hate (it). He it is Who has sent His Messenger with guidance and the religion of truth to make it victorious over all (other) religions even though the idolators hate (it).)

We explained the meanings of similar Ayat before, in the Tafsir of Surah Bara'ah. All praise and thanks are due to Allah.
