Isma'il, Idris, Dhul-Kifl: each of them was patient.
Three names joined by one quality
Isma'il was the son of Ibrahim, and Idris was mentioned in Surah Maryam. Of Dhul-Kifl, the tafsir says the context suggests he was a prophet; others said he was a righteous man and a just judge, and Ibn Jarir made no firm comment. What the verse records about all three is patience.
Few people will know your name in a hundred years. Your job title won't matter. What lasts is a word like patient: the parent who stayed calm, the carer who kept going. That is a legacy.
To be remembered, I need to do something big.
Allah remembered these prophets with one word: patient. That can be my legacy too.
Choose one situation today where you will be patient on purpose.
