The unseenTaker of souls
The Angel of Deathملك الموت
The angel entrusted with taking every soul when its time comes.
The Quran names him only as the Angel of Death, with helpers who take souls with him. For the believer they come gently, with peace. For the wrongdoer they come striking faces and backs. No soul is taken a moment early or late.
What does the Quran say?
Say, "The angel of death will take you who has been entrusted with you. Then to your Lord you will be returned."
Quran 32:11
The lesson
Death has an appointed messenger, and he does not miss an appointment.
