A freedwoman of Abu Lahab who nursed the baby Muhammad ﷺ before Halimah.
Thuwaybah nursed the newborn Muhammad ﷺ for a few days, and had also nursed his uncle Hamzah and Abu Salamah, making them his milk brothers. The Prophet ﷺ honoured her and sent her gifts all her life.
