The poet who defended the Prophet ﷺ with verse, with the Holy Spirit supporting him.

Hassan was already a famous poet of Madinah when he accepted Islam in old age. When Quraysh mocked the Prophet ﷺ in poetry, he answered for him from a pulpit set up in the mosque. The Prophet ﷺ prayed that Jibril support him. He is said to have lived about 120 years.
