Fatimah bint Asad was the wife of Abu Talib and mother of Ali, Jafar and Aqil. When the young Muhammad ﷺ came to live in Abu Talib's house, she cared for him like her own. She accepted Islam and emigrated to Madinah, and when she died the Prophet ﷺ honoured her at her burial.
