Approximate dateMadinah

The Prophet's ﷺ youngest daughter, wife of Ali and mother of Hasan and Husayn.

Fatimah grew up through the years of persecution, once wiping filth off her father's back at the Kaaba. She married Ali ibn Abi Talib and lived simply, grinding grain until her hands blistered. When she asked for a servant, the Prophet ﷺ taught her a dhikr instead. She died six months after him, the first of his family to follow him.
