A son of the Prophet ﷺ and Khadijah who died as a baby in Makkah.
Abdullah, also called al-Tayyib and al-Tahir, was born to Muhammad ﷺ and Khadijah and died in infancy. Some of Quraysh mocked the Prophet ﷺ as "cut off", with no son to carry his name. The commentators say Surah al-Kawthar was revealed in reply: it is his enemy who is cut off.
