Jannat al-Baqiبقيع الغرقد
The old cemetery of Madinah, resting place of thousands of Companions and the Prophet's ﷺ family.
Here lie the Prophet's ﷺ son Ibrahim, his daughters, many of his wives, the caliph Uthman, al-Hasan, and thousands of Companions; most scholars say Fatimah too. The Prophet ﷺ used to go out at night to greet its dead and pray for them.
