Who asked who was strongerAge of Hud

Relied onTheir strength and their towering buildings

Undone byA wind

A mighty people of the sand dunes who built monuments on every height and fortresses as if they would live for ever. They called Hud a fool and asked, 'Who is greater than us in strength?'

How it ended

They saw a cloud and cheered at the rain. It was a furious wind that blew for seven nights and eight days and left them like hollow palm trunks (69:6-7).

And as for 'Aad, they were destroyed by a screaming, violent wind

Quran 69:6
