Undone byHer own choice
She lived with a righteous prophet but did not share his faith. The commentators say she told people he was mad and warned the leaders about those who believed.
How it ended
The Quran gives her as an example for those who disbelieve: 'Enter the Fire with those who enter' (66:10).
Allah presents an example of those who disbelieved: the wife of Noah and the wife of Lot. They were under two of Our righteous servants but betrayed them, so those prophets did not avail them from Allah at all, and it was said, "Enter the Fire with those who enter."
Named in the QuranThe Quran does not name her. Ibn Abbas explained that her betrayal was of faith, not of the marriage. Some commentators name her Wa'ilah; the reports differ.
