ابن نوح

The son of Nuh

Who would not board the arkAge of Nuh

Relied onA mountain to keep him from the water

Undone byA wave

As the flood rose, Nuh called to his son to come aboard and not stay with the disbelievers. He refused, saying he would climb a mountain to escape the water.

How it ended

A wave came between them and he drowned. When Nuh pleaded for him, Allah told him his son was not of his family, for his deeds were not righteous (11:46).

And it sailed with them through waves like mountains, and Noah called to his son who was apart [from them], "O my son, come aboard with us and be not with the disbelievers."

Quran 11:42

The lessonEven a prophet's son is saved only by his own faith.
