The Disciples of Isaالحواريون

Approximate dateGalilee

The close followers of Isa who answered his call: we are the helpers of Allah.

When Isa sensed disbelief from his people, he asked: who are my helpers for Allah? The disciples replied: we are the helpers of Allah, we believe, bear witness that we are Muslims. They asked for a table spread with food from heaven, so that their hearts might be at rest. The Quran tells believers to be helpers of Allah as they were.

What does the Quran say?

O you who have believed, be supporters of Allah, as when Jesus, the son of Mary, said to the disciples, "Who are my supporters for Allah?" The disciples said, "We are supporters of Allah." And a faction of the Children of Israel believed and a faction disbelieved. So We supported those who believed against their enemy, and they became dominant.
