The Messengers of the Townأصحاب القرية

Antioch

Two messengers sent to a town and a third sent to strengthen them, all rejected by its people.

Allah sent two messengers to a town; when the people called them liars, He reinforced them with a third. The people said: you are only men like us, and we see you as a bad omen. The messengers answered: your omen is with yourselves. Then a man came running from the far end of the town to support them.

What does the Quran say?

When We sent to them two but they denied them, so We strengthened them with a third, and they said, "Indeed, we are messengers to you."

Quran 36:14
