The old Syrian capital that tradition makes 'the town' of Surah Ya-Sin.

Surah Ya-Sin tells of a town that rejected messengers until a man came running from the far end of the city to defend them, and was killed (36:13-27). Many commentators said the town was Antioch and named the man Habib al-Najjar; a mosque in his name stands there. Antioch was later a Crusader principality.
