Nakhlah

The Prophet's cousin whose patrol at Nakhlah in a sacred month brought down a verse.

Abdullah, brother of Zaynab bint Jahsh, led a small patrol to Nakhlah to watch a Qurayshi caravan. They fought it on what may have been the last day of a sacred month, and Quraysh cried out. The Quran answered that fighting then was grave, but driving people from the Sacred Mosque was graver. He was killed at Uhud.
