Among the first women to accept Islam, mother of Ibn Abbas.

Lubabah bint al-Harith, wife of al-Abbas, is said to be the second woman after Khadijah to accept Islam. Her sister Maymunah became a wife of the Prophet ﷺ. On the day of Arafah, when people wondered whether he was fasting, she sent him a cup of milk and he drank it in front of them.
