An Ansari woman whose only dowry was her suitor's Islam, and whose patience became a byword.

Umm Sulaym gave her son Anas to serve the Prophet ﷺ. When Abu Talhah proposed, she said his Islam would be her dowry. When their little son died, she calmly fed her husband and only then told him, and the Prophet ﷺ prayed for their night; they were blessed with a son. At Hunayn she carried a dagger.
