The first great Ottoman capital, where the early sultans are buried.
Orhan took Bursa in 1326 and made it the Ottoman capital. Bayezid I built its twenty-domed Grand Mosque around 1400 after his victory at Nicopolis. Osman and Orhan are buried here, and its silk trade made it rich.
