al-Masjid al-Nabawiالمسجد النبوي
The Prophet's ﷺ Mosque in Madinah, where he lived, taught and is buried.
Built by the Prophet ﷺ and his Companions in 622 of mud brick and palm trunks, it was mosque, school, court and shelter for the poor of the Suffah. His grave, with those of Abu Bakr and Umar, lies inside beneath the Green Dome. He said the space between his house and his pulpit is a garden of Paradise.
