Gizaالجيزة
Plateau of the Great Pyramid, the tallest building on earth for nearly 4,000 years.
The Great Pyramid of Khufu was raised around 2560 BCE. The Muslim physician Abd al-Latif al-Baghdadi studied and measured the pyramids around 1200. The Quran recalls Firaun 'of the stakes' (89:10) and his order to Haman to bake bricks for a tower (28:38).
