The Kaabaالكعبة

The cube-shaped House of Allah, raised by Ibrahim and Ismail, the qiblah of Muslims everywhere.

Ibrahim and Ismail raised its foundations and prayed for a messenger from their offspring (2:127-129). Over the centuries it filled with idols; Quraysh rebuilt it when Muhammad ﷺ was 35, and he set the Black Stone in place. He cleansed it in 630, and it has been rebuilt since by Ibn al-Zubayr, al-Hajjaj and the Ottoman sultan Murad IV.
